Project Be Free's 1st Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Gala Fundraiser

Join us for our 1st Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Gala Fundraiser - October 19th, 2024 during DV Awareness Month. 

'On the Wings of Hope’ reflects the services we provide to our community and the hope we help cultivate within families experiencing DV crisis for a brighter, healthier future. We envision a night filled with love, gratitude, and celebration among individuals and community partners. The event will be a cocktail-attire affair, adding an elegant touch to the evening.                                                           

Event Schedule

• Event opens at 5:30PM - Doors open at the Weatherly Inn Renton with available coat check for guests.
• Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction - Cozy up in the Fireside Room while you enjoy a welcome drink and light appetizers. Mingle with guests while browsing and placing your bids on an array of silent auction items.
• Welcome & Opening Remarks - Official welcome from our Executive Director and a brief overview of the evening.
• Dinner Service at 6:30PM - Enjoy a three-course meal with all the Fall comfort food favorites by Weatherly Inn's Chef Kenya.
• Keynote & Guest Speaker - Inspirational keynote address from a renowned advocate for Domestic Violence prevention.
• Live Auction - Our auctioneer will lead an exciting live auction feating exclusive items and experiences.
• Fund-A-Need Paddle Raise - An opportunity for guests to contribute directly to our mission by raising their paddles to help support with unrestrictive funds.
• Dancing & Entertainment - Dance the night away while checking out the dessert dash options.
• Dessert Dash - End the night with a sweet treat donated by local businesses for our final fundraiser of the evening. Highest combined table bid chooses first.
• Event closes at 9:00PM - Thank you and closing remarks. Final closing in the Banker's Room.
